[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm joined by a guy who at the Yankees series, jumped off the oil ship.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love the Josh Broker.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, I have never jumped off this ship.

[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen well worth losing, and I stick with this ship.

[SPEAKER_03]: But, uh, oh, okay, I'm just saying we haven't recorded in a couple of weeks.

[SPEAKER_03]: I thought people were talking that you, Josh, no one with this back that I jumped off the ship.

[SPEAKER_03]: But some people were talking that you jumped off the ship.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't believe any of your speculation that is all fake news.

[SPEAKER_02]: Next you're going to tell me that a bunch of pastors got together to prepare the world for UFOs.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, is that I don't even know if that I assume that's the true.

[SPEAKER_03]: I missed that story.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's the story that was running around today.

[SPEAKER_02]: Was that the government got a bunch of pastors together to say, hey, aliens are real.

[SPEAKER_02]: Aliens are going to come down to Earth and say that they created us.

[SPEAKER_03]: OK. Josh, I love how we haven't talked Oreos in two weeks and there.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't much to get to it's been a roller coaster right now.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm going to start off with you, Bob.

[SPEAKER_00]: Talk.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I did found the, found the Facebook group Christian to believe in aliens.

[SPEAKER_03]: I found that group on Facebook.com.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe we'll have to do a spin-off.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we'll do a special episode of a podcast where we don't talk Oreos.

[SPEAKER_02]: We talk Christians who believe in aliens.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, I would like to host that podcast.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, well, we'll do like one bonus episode.

[SPEAKER_02]: We'll put it out here and on the Michael Marisha.

[SPEAKER_03]: After Orioles have taken the second game against Miami.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like this coming after a rough series against the Yankees.

[SPEAKER_03]: Just set in the context.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, you mean a winning streak.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's too.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, caught a one street.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, what in Street against the Marlins, but I guess I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Were you like me where you were prepared that, hey, we might go down to Miami and just get in Barris, even more, because the team said so frustrating to watch the past two weeks.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this feels like two evenly matched teams, Miami and the Orioles, when we played the Yankees, and we'll get into this, but I just felt like we were over matched.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like they were clearly just a better team from top to bottom than we were, and it frankly wasn't even that close.

[SPEAKER_03]: So Miami's more on our level.

[SPEAKER_03]: We'll stick with Miami.

[SPEAKER_03]: So...

[SPEAKER_03]: And certainly the Yankees look like far and away, the best team. [SPEAKER_03]: At least, I think a lot of people on our show made it, they look like old school Yankees. [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back. [SPEAKER_03]: I think to the dark side Yankees and the Orioles look very average right now. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think maybe two of those games, the Orioles were in it for about three units. [SPEAKER_02]: and then the rest was just a blowouts. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the final score is a blowouts. [SPEAKER_03]: If you want to do it like we did, I felt against freedom and Schlittler. [SPEAKER_03]: We got a lot of basementers on, several unfortunate double plays. [SPEAKER_03]: These a couple of that were even really hard. [SPEAKER_03]: So if you want to get real into it, I think there were some moments where we could have been more competitive, but the end result is for a series, we were kind of excited and pumped up for, we got our butts kicked. [SPEAKER_02]: And we played this point in baseball lead in into that series, yes. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's in a kind of miserable two weeks, at least, if not the whole season. [SPEAKER_02]: So I know we're coming into this, like talking like we won two games in a row. [SPEAKER_02]: And that's great. [SPEAKER_02]: And you got to play this on your schedule and can't take that away. [SPEAKER_02]: And it's a tough road trip, I guess, according to Madison. [SPEAKER_03]: but it can't be still can't be too positive at this point right there's still lots of things to be irritated with about this team yeah yeah absolutely like this I'm not optimistic I don't know where you want to start when you can start with injuries you you can start with pitching you can start with managing let's there's a lot of stuff to cover with what's going on [SPEAKER_03]: All right, yeah, let's start the quote coach, I mean, manager, Ibernes. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, all right. [SPEAKER_02]: So this was after Monday's loss, right? [SPEAKER_02]: This was in New York, the four game, which I will never understand if it's not a day, this would actually, or that ends on a Monday. [SPEAKER_03]: For the record, this was, I know it was a weird thing. [SPEAKER_03]: This was a, the pre game talk before Monday's game. [SPEAKER_03]: So this was pre game loss before the Monday game. [SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: Awareness, how's this job? [SPEAKER_01]: And really, you know, January, February, you know, offseason, you guys spoke of this team being, [SPEAKER_01]: Kable will have a deep play off around a world series team. [SPEAKER_01]: Are those expectations still reasonable for this group given the manner of play? [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, hell yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you want to jump ship. [SPEAKER_07]: You can jump ship. [SPEAKER_07]: But don't ask to come back on. [SPEAKER_07]: That's it. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we had these four games. [SPEAKER_07]: Have been tough. [SPEAKER_07]: but it's four games and every loss, it sinks to loose. [SPEAKER_07]: No matter what it is, it's, but you want to go back all the next day and get back to work and try to win the next, and that came in front of you. [SPEAKER_07]: It's a beauty baseball, we play 162 games. [SPEAKER_07]: But like I said, if you want to jump ship, you can. [SPEAKER_07]: Just don't ask to get back on. [SPEAKER_03]: It is a can, it is the right thing. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a bit close. [SPEAKER_03]: And I know I want to get my pass on it, but I can't because it's so dumb. [SPEAKER_02]: And what's that reporters, Peter Monaco? [SPEAKER_02]: Is that what I was saying? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I don't know who asked the question. [SPEAKER_02]: I believe it was Peter Monaco, who's from that. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a legit question. [SPEAKER_03]: How is the expertise changed for this team? [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's legit. [SPEAKER_02]: But here's my problem. [SPEAKER_02]: The reporter has been running cover now for this. [SPEAKER_02]: And being like, well, he doesn't wasn't talking about the fan base. [SPEAKER_02]: He was just making a joke with me. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: And trying to detect Craig, where I get, all right, maybe that's the case. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't say that until live microphone that you know is on TV. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a dump. [SPEAKER_03]: I tend to want to give it past two, but if you just think about it for two seconds, it's so dumb on so many levels. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what jumpship even means, Josh, but after what oral fans have been through, yeah, we've been through the past 20 years of this team, Perunit losing. [SPEAKER_03]: We've been through the more recent, Michael Ayes, that's the thinking, and yet this, [SPEAKER_02]: four game series has gone and calls all these oral fans to jump ship right but I can say and but I can answer that question so much better all yet and stick with exact same sediment he was trying to say it's just hell yeah it's a long season sure people are going to count us out but it's a long season and we're going to be there [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, that is normal, and listen, by the way, okay, so our father who's been an orals fan from the beginning, you know, I don't want to put his age at all as information out there, but he was cheering for Baye Bruth when Baye Bruth was on the orals minor league team. [SPEAKER_03]: The bottom of my, my, my listening, is that all? [SPEAKER_02]: I don't, and that that, that that doesn't work out, but okay. [SPEAKER_03]: he's been a fan for from the beginning and for all these you know all these these decades of cheering for the Orioles and he was pumped up for this we we were uh and we won't get into this because we were so much Orioles talk but we went to the Great Wolf Lodge maybe time at the end me the Great Wolf Lodge with I would so I got to hang out with that I don't I don't just see him as much as I would like so we got to spend the weekend together did he tell you about watching [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that was part of this conversation. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm a baby who's played. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was a joke, Josh, about his age. [SPEAKER_02]: All right, well, I think it's before the Orioles were even the Orioles. [SPEAKER_02]: Right, it was up there, but he played for the minor league version. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, all right, deep bottom or baseball club. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: The Baltimore baseball club. [SPEAKER_03]: So anyway, and he was, you know, we're spending time with family, our sisters, our sisters as well, but when the Yankees series was happening, like that was taking a break from the family appointment viewing because this is a big series. [SPEAKER_03]: We have been playing great, but the Yankees are in first place in an art division. [SPEAKER_02]: The rubbish is gone away. [SPEAKER_03]: That's not a way. [SPEAKER_03]: I still hung out. [SPEAKER_03]: I was doing the water slides and stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: I can't out myself, but that's not a way to focus his attention or a game, and then they got their butts kicked. [SPEAKER_03]: And the next day, you know, like a fool, he, you know, fool me once, shame on you. [SPEAKER_03]: He went back to it again. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, and then a third time. [SPEAKER_03]: And after the third time, scene orders get wiped. [SPEAKER_03]: That's when he, I think he texted both of us. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it was like he's kind of done. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, for my mental health. [SPEAKER_03]: And I think this is not jumping ship, but this is a normal response.
