1 min[SPEAKER_03]: Nice, I, I, I, I was having a conversation with someone yesterday about how the Orioles really did kill it with the city connects this year.

1 min[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're great.

1 min[SPEAKER_03]: That there, as anyone, I know there's people that don't like it and people say, oh, the old ones were better, you're wrong.

1 min[SPEAKER_03]: They're wrong.

1 min[SPEAKER_03]: If you're a lifelong Orioles fan, if you've been a fan forever, this kills it, because the stadium, it represents the stadium so well, and that stadium means so much to Orioles fandom.

1 min[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it seems to have a lot more meaning connection than the last Yes, yes But I'm already looking forward to city connect twenty twenty nine.

1 min[SPEAKER_00]: I want to have a story.

1 min[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's every three years.

1 min[SPEAKER_03]: So I guess that would be twenty twenty nine Well, yeah, we'll have to see what it was.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, the Orioles are 38 and 42.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: They've won three games in a row.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: But my question for you is

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: Have they been above or below 500 since the last time we did our podcast?

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they didn't.

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: They haven't been above since we talked last.

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, no, no, no, just in the games that has happened.

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: You're saying, yeah, yeah, yeah.

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: Just in that sample size.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that sample size.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: I believe it's June six was our last podcast.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like they were June 23rd.

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: What do you think the record was?

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably right around 500.

2 min[SPEAKER_00]: I think we were talking about theories of where they could get above 500 last time and so I would guess we were kind of right at 500 last time.

2 min[SPEAKER_03]: It's awesome I talked and you're right I've got the graphic right here when we last spoke they were 29 and 33 on June 4th yeah And now they're 38 and 42 exactly 500 for the past whatever two at three weeks.

3 min[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's it's this season a nutshell

3 min[SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's also like, what's so irritating about waste in April, is doing so bad in April.

3 min[SPEAKER_03]: If you were above 500 and then you continue to play 500 ball, you're excited.

3 min[SPEAKER_03]: Instead you look at that 500 ball and you look at the stupid games we should have won.

3 min[SPEAKER_03]: That would have put us up.

3 min[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, we got a lot to get to, we haven't talked in a while.

3 min[SPEAKER_00]: I have a whole list of topics that I've not done with baseball, but you want to talk or else, so we can talk or else.

3 min[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this show doesn't exist without us going into other things, but we are two games out of the wild card because the American League sucks this year.

3 min[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's okay.

3 min[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like buckle up, we talked about this last time, but it's gonna be so fascinating because

3 min[SPEAKER_00]: There's us, I mean, just take that whole clump of the twins, the Rangers, the Blue Jays, the Red Sox, there's a whole clump of teams, the Tigers who need the White Sox, who need to decide in the next month and a half if they're going to board next month, really, if they're going to be buyers or sellers.

4 min[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's gonna be fascinating to watch over the next month because the next month matters so much for all these franchises.

4 min[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't actually say go, so I can't wait, it's gonna be exciting baseball next month.

4 min[SPEAKER_03]: The worst team in the American League is the Los Angeles Sanjules, and they are eight games out of the wild card.

4 min[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and if they would five in a row, they're back in it.

4 min[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
